As a strategic social impact consultant, I help organizations amplify their social impact through philanthropy and community engagement programs to create meaningful change. With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and cultural sectors, I bring a unique perspective to developing and implementing effective social impact strategies.
My journey spans the intersection of arts, philanthropy, and social impact, beginning at the Getty Conservation Institute before leading K-12 education programs at the Getty Museum. I returned to the Getty Museum to oversee social media and digital engagement initiatives. I have also led four nonprofits, including two foundations, and served as director of the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art. For over a decade, I've guided the HMC Designing Futures Foundation as executive director, transitioning to a full-time role in 2023 leading social impact initiatives at HMC Architects.
My track record includes managing $1.5 million budgets, stewarding $3 million in assets, and raising $3.5 million in funding. I excel in building kind, ethical, and collaborative high-performing teams that embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, consistently delivering measurable outcomes that transform organizations.
Drawing on my dual background in art history and studio art, combined with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and corporate social responsibility, I bring a distinctive approach to creating meaningful social change. Through strategic philanthropy, community engagement, and DEI initiatives, I help organizations amplify their impact while building more equitable and inclusive communities.
With dual degrees in art history and studio art including an MFA in sculpture, as well as experience as a museum, gallery, and art school director, I have a deep passion for art and creativity. My husband and I have built a collection that includes pieces by Alison Saar, Uta Barth, Guerrilla Girls, Kim Dingle, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Dave Hicks, and Yoshitomo Nara.
